Codes
Here are some codes and analysis scripts that might be of interest to someone.
clustered supernovae
This is a code that creates a list of supernova locations to be used in SILCC-like simulations, see Girichidis et al. (2016) and Girichidis et al. (2018) for details. The spatial distribution of the SNe incudes three different components:
- a random component 1 uniformly distributed in x and y with a Gaussian distribution in z (scale height h1), used for type Ia SNe
- a random component 2 uniformly distributed in x and y with a Gaussian distribution in z (scale height h2), used for runaway SNe from clusters (Type II)
- and a clustered component with a randomly determined number of SNe per cluster. The positioning of the cluster is random (uniform) in x and y and Gaussian in z with scale height h2

Analysis codes for wind tunnels
This is the set of analysis codes I used for Girichidis et al. (2021). The scripts are based on YT (python)
